Good

Keeps crashing however. Please fix it

No music

I once had this game a couple of years ago, and there was music in the background while playing the game. Now I hear no music while playing and its really jarring. Im playing on an iPad 4th generation, and running iOS 10. Can you please look into the issue? I get sound, just no music, and thats off putting.

What happened to the music!?!

I had this game for a long time on iPhone 4, and the best part about the game was the awesome music! But today I downloaded on my iPhone 6 and theres no music. The settings said music and sound were on (the sound effects worked fine) but there was no music! I even deleted and redowloaded to try to fix it but to no avail. Apparently Im not the only one with this problem either. Please fix it

Great

I really enjoy this game. Keep coming back to it time and again.

NOT for 32-bit iOS! [Reviews you can Trust]

The game is notorious for crashing a lot on 32-bit iOS! Get a new device that runs 64-bit iOS (like the iPhone SE), and all those problems will just disappear! Bottom line, the game is great again! However, to save their players some stress, I think Activision should limit their high GPU usage games (like this) to 64-bit iOS, and discontinue support on 32-bit iOS, as itll do nothing on 32-bit iOS but crash! P.S. I also miss the Background Music, and want it back ASAP!

Amazing

This game is a must have its so addicting and fun!

Guys. What the hell.

Game refuses to load on iPad mini, at least mine. This was one of my favorite games playing on my dads iPad, but now I cant play it anymore, and its pissing me off. Make it work on this device or take it off the AppStore for this device, but stop dragging people along thinking theyll be able to play then screwing them over with a broken game. Thanks!

Music is broken

The game wont play the music on newer devices and iOSs, please fix this, the game feels dead without it.

Crap

Does not follow commands. I slide down an he jumps up or cracks his whip. Very frustrating. I deleted the same day I installed it.

Cool

Cool! Too hard to get diamonds though

Pitfall Review

Cool game but where is the music?

Great!!!

Love the game. Lots of fun

Great they made pitfall

I love it is a whole new game

The swiping controls stink

Warning about slowing down iPad need to be addressed.

I LOVE this game and continue to play although the slowdown worry that Apple cautions about. It would highly recommend to you. To correct this immediately it likely will cost you some players. There are certain games I chose to pay that require purchases of items to make the game exciting. I agree that the cost is over the top as it shouldnt take $50 to get 1500 diamonds! I do purchase the diamond packs but I use them frugally. It would be nice to earn MORE diamonds with in the game play. Exchanging gold bricks with diamonds would be really cool as well as allowing people who cannot afford to buy power ups to enjoy this game. My iPad is for enjoyment, games, reading and writing things. I do not use it in a business sense as I am disabled, but the iPad provides me with great hours of fun. I do hope you will consider my ideas and correct the slowdown of the iPad itself just because of your game. Seriously, I want to recommend this game to my friends but most work and the slowdown might be a problem. Until that as well as earning diamonds along with gold bricks while running, I am forced to enjoy the game by myself. Other than that, great game. Ps. A strategy guide or instruction section would help too.

Its OK...but beware of how they rip you off.

I LOVED pitfall as a kid playing on an Atari 2600. But, this is not that game. First off, the control aspect on the iPad is not great. You can be tapping the screen to use the whip, and instead jump or duck. It appears that the sensitivity of their settings is such that if your finger as the slightest Up or down movement it sees it as jump or duck instead of a tap for the whip. There is also a VERY sleazy thing they do with the diamonds. If you buy a lot of diamonds, all of a sudden, the number of diamonds needed for various things goes up dramatically. For example, if you purchased 8 diamonds, and you die during play, it may ask you for 1 or 2 diamonds to restart. But, if you bought 60 diamonds, it will ask for 36, or even 52 diamonds for the same restart. Sneaky, and shouldnt be allowed!!! As a result...I try to avoid paying them for anything. Apple should look into this...seriously, not cool. Also, the instructions and rules of play are vague at best. For example, try to find out how long a route is. How far do you have to go to the next level? Nothing tells you. While playing, you can see how far you have gone, but nothing anywhere gives you any idea of how far you have to go before the next level is triggered. Another very bad feature is that it keeps changing your view perspective. This not only disorients, but it almost makes it a requirement that you buy more diamonds, as they will begin the view changes are really, really tough areas. It also appears that they purposefully put in obstacles that are too close together to make it almost impossible for their buggy control system to react. You should be able to lock a view perspective if desired. The game is OK...but, just beware...they are definitely trying to milk you out of a lot of bucks. I would say that it is almost impossible to get all the way through it without paying them more and more money. Not cool. I dont mind paying some...but they are REALLY milking it.

Love it

Amazing game, I wish my parents would let me have more than twenty minutes a day on my ipod

Loads of Fun

Very well done and a lot of fun!

fun and exciting

I like it its good and I remember playing this when I was little its fun for kids :)

Its a temple run ripoff (please read)

This is actually a terrible app but the App Store is rigged so it only displays whatever review appears the most. Activision doesnt care about their past, they just want your money and they know that pitfall is a good way to ripoff a popular app. Dont let them get away with this.
